Zitadel SSO Integration (Waterfall UK)
What's New: Waterfall UK is migrating from native Waterfall authentication to Zitadel Single Sign-On (SSO) for enhanced security and modern identity management.
User Impact:
-
Eligible Users: Active UK users with email addresses will be migrated (except some).
-
Migration Process:
-
Users will receive an invitation email from Zitadel to set up their new password.
-
On next login, users will be redirected to Zitadel authentication.
-
Users must set a new password and configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
-
If the invitation email is missed, users can use the "Forgot Password" flow.
-
-
Non-Migrated Accounts: Some accounts and users will remain on standard username/password login until their IDP integration is configured at a later date.
Benefits:
-
Self-service password management.
-
Enhanced security with mandatory MFA.
Custom Identity Provider (IDP) Integration via Zitadel
What's New: Enterprise customers can now integrate their corporate Identity Providers (IDP) through Zitadel, allowing users to authenticate with their company credentials.
User Impact:
-
For Enterprise Customers: Contact your CSM to configure corporate IDP integration in Zitadel (SAML/OAuth supported).
-
Login Experience: Once IDP is configured, users authenticate via their company's login system (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace).
-
Migration Timeline: IDP integration is optional and configured at customer's convenience.
-
Until IDP Setup: Users authenticate via standard Zitadel SSO (username/password + MFA).
Benefits:
-
Centralized identity management through corporate systems.
-
Compliance with corporate security policies.
-
Seamless single sign-on experience.
Admin App: Disable Standard Login
-
New option allows admins to disable username/password login, enforcing IDP-only authentication.

Fixed slow UI performance and fatal error issues.
-
Resolved impersonation revert functionality.
